Unit Anniversaries
Anniversaries of 50 years or more (in multiples of five years) will be posted
within 30 days following the publication of each issue of Scouting magazine,
if received by the first day of the month of the issue's publication (i.e., March. 1
for the September issue).
- Troop 1 - Passaic, N.J.
- 85th anniversary in April, 2005. Boy Scout Troop 1 of Holy Rosary
Roman Catholic Church (formerly Boy Scout Troop 26) will be celebrating
its 85th anniversary with a Hot Dog event in April 2005. We were
originally chartered to Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Passaic
as Troop 26. The troop was formed in 1921 and later chartered as Troop
1 with our current chartered organization, Parish Holy Rosary Roman
Catholic Church in September 2000.

Troop 82 - New Cumberland, Pa.
75th anniversary in June, 2004. Chartered to St. Pauls Lutheran
Church, New Cumberland, Pa. Troop 82 is looking for all former Scouts,
leaders, or anyone associated with the troop to join them in a 75th
anniversary celebration in June 2004. Please contact Ruth Romako at
rromako@verizon.net with your e-mail or home address so we can include
you on our mailing list. The current Scouts and committee are looking
forward to hearing from you and having you share your memories of
Troop 82.
Troop 35 - Traverse City, Mich.
75th anniversary in February, 2004. There have been more than 18
Scoutmasters and almost 1,000 registered Scouters in Troop 35. These
Scouts have kept the Scouting program alive and well by instilling
great values in young men. They have done this by keeping themselves
physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. Our troop
has been involved in many community and civic programs, like planting
more than 180,000 pine trees at Gilbert Pines and helping to build
the water front and O. A. bowl at Camp Grelick. We would like to
invite anyone who was involved with Troop 35 to contact us and help

Troop 904 - Colville, WA
75th anniversary in December, 2003. The troop is chartered to the
Colville Kiwanis. A 75th anniversary banquet is scheduled for
November 2003. Contact should be made with Scoutmaster Chuck Mccomb
or committee chairperson Adina McComb. All past troop members are

Troop 20 - St. Louis, Mo.
75th anniversary in March, 2004. Troop 20 is chartered to Holy Name
Society, Holy Family Catholic Church, South St. Louis City, Mo.
We are searching for all former Scouts, Scouters, and friends of
the troop to tell us their stories, show us their photos, and other
Scouting goodies.
Pack 13 - Sherman, Tex.
55th anniversary in January, 2004. Come celebrate the 55th
anniversary of Pack 13 in Sherman, Tex. Chartered to the Sherman
Elks Lodge 2280, Pack 13 will celebrate its 55th birthday during
the annual pack pinewood derby. All former members of Pack 13 are
encouraged to attend and need to RSVP via phone or e-mail. Contact

Pack 64 - Dayton, Tex.
55th anniversary in April, 2004. All past Cub Scouts and leaders are
invited to Pack 64's blue and gold banquet in February. The dinner
will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Dayton.
Troop 63 - Hamilton, N.J.
50th anniversary in February, 2004. Boy Scout Troop 63 will be
holding a reunion of all former members in conjunction with its
50th anniversary on Sunday, February 8th, 2004. St. Mark United
Methodist Church in Hamilton Square and its predecessor, Union
United Methodist Church in Mercerville, have been chartered
organizations for Troop 63 since 1954. A special ceremony at St.
Mark United Methodist Church will be held February 8, 2004 at 11
A.M., followed by a reception and luncheon.

than 700 boys have learned the values of citizenship, character
development, and personal fitness during Troop 63's 50-year
history!
Troop 742 - Livonia, MI
50th anniversary in April, 2004 We will celebrating this fall and
are looking for former members to participate. St. Matthew's United
Methodist Church was made up from Livonia Methodist and Hope Chapel

Troop 147 - Christiansburg, VA.
50th anniversary in June, 2004 Boy Scout Troop 147 is looking for all
former members to celebrate the 50th anniversary year of Troop 147's
charter. We'd like to hear from former Scouts or leaders who were part
of Boy Scout Troop 147 chartered by the Belmont II Ruritans.
