Scouting magazine reprint policy

Scouting magazine routinely grants permission to BSA leaders or entities to reproduce an article for informational use within the Scouting family (such as unit or district newsletters) or for distribution to the public for promotional purposes. Permission is obtained by sending a request letter to the editor (or an e-mail message using the "letters to the editor" form on this Web site) describing how the article will be used. Any such reproduction must include a credit indicating in which issue of the magazine the article originally appeared.
